She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Bob; son-in law Chuck Maloney; 5 siblings, Martin, Fred, Ruth, Babe & Bob and dear companion Tom Crowley. Karen is survived by daughter Candy Maloney; son Mike (Lori); grandchildren Mary Jurrens, Theresa Paduano, Sara Frear, Paul Maloney and Jen Bakula; 10 great grandchildren and siblings Marge Hendrickson, Bill Luedtke (Lois) and Honey Zack. Karen grew up in the Frog Town area of St. Paul and attended

High School
. Bob and Karen Married in 1945 and lived in the West 7
th
area, spending summer weekends and vacations at the cabin they loved and built at the Luedtke family compound, Pine Roost on Big Pine Lake, Finlayson, MN. Karen worked as a dental assistant at
Anker
Hospital
and then a nursing assistant at the Little Sisters of the Poor. Karen had a beautiful singing voice and sang for numerous family weddings, funerals & events. She was a choir member at St. Francis De Sales for over 50 years. Widowed for 19 years, Karen traveled with friends, volunteered for Meals on Wheels, countless Parish activities, helped her friends, played lots of bingo & cards and enjoyed time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. We’ll miss you Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, sister and friend.
