Passed away peacefully March 29, 2010. Preceded by husband William, sister Mildred and brother Jack. Survived by children daughter Barb Hanson & Sandy (David) Carlson; son Bill (Sharon) Schmidt; granddaughters Michelle (Bruce) Schlie, Amy (John) Neal, Beth (Andy) Garfield, Jessica (Marlyn) Dennison, Katie Schmidt; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces & friends. She was a 1933 graduate of Anker Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Regions Hospital for 28 years and volunteered there for another 29 years. In 1980 she was chosen Outstanding Senior Citizen of Ramsey County and also W.C.C.O Good Neighbor. Leona was a 58 years member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Visitation MON 4-8 pm at KESSLER & MAGUIR FUNERAL HOME 640 W. 7 ^TH St. Memorial svc. TUE. 5:00 pm At ST. PETER’S LUTHERAN CHURCH 530 South Victoria. Private Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
