Passed away peacefully in his sleep February 13, 2009 in his fish house on Mille Lacs Lake . Ray was a soldier during the Vietnam War and later worked for Ramsey County Parks for 33 years. Preceded in death by parents Leslie & Gloria Stipe. Survived by brothers and sisters Linda (Dave) Strom, Kathleen Johnson, James (Joanie) Stipe, Debra (Dave) Schwantz, Diane (Bruce) Bergeron and David Stipe; nieces and nephews Becci, Molly, Kate, David, Erik, Nick, Stephanie, Maceo, Indyah, Riley and Nathaniel. Ray will be deeply missed by his many friends from the Ann Lake, Togo and Mille Lacs areas. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 PM at KESSLER & MAGUIRE FUNERAL HOME 640 W. 7 ^th St. 651-224-2341 and 1 hr. prior to service from 10-11 am. Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday. Interment Ft. Snelling with lunch to follow.
