Tillie was born on July 9, 1917 on a farm in Veseli, MN to Frank and Anna (Novak) Simon. She married Stanley G. Sticha in St. Paul, MN on May 2, 1939. From this union they had 4 children, Shirley (deceased), Richard (Veronica), DeWayne, and Charlene; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Tillie lived and raised her family in the same house in the West Seventh St. area for the past 65 yrs. She was very active in the community schools and church. She was well known for her cooking and baking, especially her Kolaches and Sauerkraut soup. Tillie liked to dance, play card games, and bingo. Tillie loved and was loved by every person she met. She will be remembered and greatly missed.
