Alice Prescott

Loving daughter, devoted sister, adoring aunt, and friend to many, Alice May Prescott, age 95, of St. Paul, MN, passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2018.
Alice loved the Lord and each member of her immediate and extended family. She was a prayer warrior who trusted God, famously whistled hymns, and always kept the faith. After her father passed away she took great joy in providing and caring for her remaining immediate family for several decades. Fiercely independent, Alice was an exemplary role model to her family on how to live life to the fullest. Her family celebrates her life, knows she’s with Jesus in glory, and treasures the lifelong example she provided for each of them.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Reginald and Josephine Frances Prescott, her brothers, Edward, Sonny, and Herbert, and her sisters, Katherine and Joan.
Her Memorial Service will take place at 1:30 pm on Friday, October 5th, 2018 at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home in St. Paul, with visitation and viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory can be sent to the Prescott family’s long-time church, Immanuel Baptist Church at 750 Watson Ave., St. Paul, MN 55102
