Barbara "Barb" Sundance

Barbara “Barb” Sundance, 56, lover of steel-toe boots, flannels, and Miller Lite; fixer of anything; woodworker; and a fiercely devoted family woman, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025.

Barb was a rock-star of a wife, mother, and grandmother—a proud worker, natural supervisor, and champion to friends and strangers alike. She held doors, planned Saturday date nights, and could light up any room with her laugh and bright personality.

Always ready to lend a hand (sometimes to a fault), Barb believed there was no problem a little determination—and maybe a cold Miller Lite—couldn’t solve. Many evenings were spent on the patio beneath the porch she built, admiring the hanging solar lights, the birds at the feeders, and the wonderfully overgrown garden her wife created. With her signature can of Miller Lite in hand, she was usually dreaming up her next project… while remembering a few she still needed to finish.

Barb is survived by her beloved wife, Lennon; her children Tom (Andreina) Treuchel, Astera (James) Sundance, and Ezra Sundance; and her grandchildren Levi and Audrina Treuchel. The youngest of eleven, she will be deeply missed by her siblings and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her legacy lives on in every beam she built, every laugh she shared, and every person she helped along the way.
