Darlene Marshall

Darlene (Dar) Marshall, age 86, of Saint Paul, Minnesota; lovingly known as “Dazzling Dar”, For her beauty and radiant spirit. She was affectionately known as Mom, Grandma Dar, Mugga, and even Great Grandma, we also knew her as Santa. Darlene passed away peacefully from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. She was deeply loved by her family and all who knew her.

Darlene had a vibrant personality and a love for life. She enjoyed gambling and never passed up the chance for a little fun and excitement. More than anything, she loved spoiling and doting on the people she cared about most. Her family was the center of her world, and she made sure they always felt loved.

Darlene is preceded in death by her mother, Grace Stafsholt; and her sons Jimmy and Rick Marshall. She leaves behind her daughter, Robyn Marshall, her son, Ron Marshall; her sister, Renee Stafsholt; and her cherished grandchildren, Chrissy Thilgen (Dwayne), Shelby Marshall, and Austin Marshall. The light of her life was her beloved great-grandson, Everett Vacinek, who brought her endless joy.

Darlene will be remembered for her beauty, kindness, generosity, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A private ceremony will be held followed by a burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on May 28, 2026. Friends and family are asked to gather at Assembly Area 6 promptly at 11:15 a.m.
