David Riggs

December 18, 1992 — August 17, 2013

David John Riggs, "Little Riggsy" age 20, of Oakdale, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, on Saturday, August 17, 2013. Born December 18, 1992, son of Peggy and Craig, much loved brother of Matthew (Randi) and Michael. Preceded in death by Grandmother, Gert Donnelly; Grandfather, Pat Donnelly; and special cousin, Chrisi Abrahams. Survived by Ciara, the love of his life, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

David graduated from Tartan HS; attended UMD; was an employee of the Postal Credit Union and the MN State Fair; and was a member of High Schools Against Cancer and Relay for Life Team, Relay 9-1-1. David had a passion for sports and was an avid hockey player. David was the spark of his family, he touched everyone he met. David loved life and always looked for the good in people. David chose to be an organ donor. His gift has already saved many lives and ensures he will live on.

Visitation on Tuesday, 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Kessler & Maguire 640 W. 7th St 651-224-2341; Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 am Wednesday, St. Stanislaus Church, 398 Superior Street, St. Paul, viewing at church one hour prior.

Peggy and Craig want to thank the caring staff at Regions Hospital, the incredible team from LifeSource, and especially, David's beautiful friends. David was a gift from God taken away from us much too soon. David continues to inspire us to "Keep on Moving."
