Donald G. Camitsch, age 87, of Mendota Heights formerly of St Paul died peacefully on June 5, 2016. Retired buyer from Eaton Corp and served in the Army during Korea. Preceded in death by parents; Charles & Anna, and wife of 57 years; Marjorie.
Survived by children and their families; Gwen & Clem, Michael, Linda & John, Sheila, Duane & Tammy and Bruce; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by his extended family at the VA Medical Center (especially 1F Team) and very special friends Liz Petschel, Alicia Davis, Ron & Mary McCauley, Joyce Selg & Misner family.
Known for his affiliations with the 76' Vulcans and the St Paul Winter Carnival; volunteer work with the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, Loaves and Fishes, and eldercare companionship activities and church work.
