Donald Luther

Donald Luther, age 82 of Shoreview passed away peacefully on Monday morning August 4, 2014. Donald was born January 23, 1932 in St. Paul, the son of Alvin & Grace (Kroger) Luther. He graduated from Washington High School in 1949. Don is survived by his wife Helen Morgan; children Terrence, Thomas (Janet), Timothy, Theresa, Tracy (Tammy); grandchildren Shawn (Tara), Scott, Jennifer (Joshua), Amanda (Kevin), Regina; 5 great-grandchildren; Helen's daughters & grandchildren; former wife Joyce; sister Karen (Eugene) Bahnemann. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Joe; sister Sandra. Don was a highly respected labor advisor for major trucking companies. He spent his early years at United Buckingham, Indianhead and Hyman trucking companies. He felt a connection to the water and enjoyed many years wintering in Florida with Helen. Don loved motorcycles, waterskiing, softball, dirt biking and dogs, especially Molly. Visitation 11 am-1pm with 1 PM Funeral Service Friday at KESSLER & MAGUIRE FUNERAL HOME, 640 W. 7th St. St. Paul.
