Doris Johnson, age 95 of Cottage Grove passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.
She is the beloved mother of Larry (Jana) Douglas, Bruce (Lydia) Johnson, Kathy (Bob) Doyle, Becky (David) Stendahl; grandmother of Tara (Chris) Cherry, Mariah (Juergen) Hahn, Leah (Eulogio) Crespin, Philip Johnson, Erin (Matthew) Nixt, Stephanie Doyle (fiancé Mark), Rob (Kate) Doyle, Eric (Vanessa) Meyer, Laura (Greg) Seely; great-grandmother of Anika, Kirsten, Lucas, Eulogio, Ezekiel, Eliseo, Ariana, Evan, Colin, Grace, Caroline, Taylor, Avery, and Emersyn; sister of Joan Smothers, Bill Carlson; sister-in law of Rita Carlson.
Doris was preceded in death by husband Wilhelm; sister Margaret; brothers Merrill & John.
A Family Service will be held at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home. Inurnment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Optage Hospice through preshomes.org-make a gift-donation-gift purpose-Optage Hospice.
