Earl W. Dressely (80) of Woodbury, Minnesota, passed away on November 17, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.
Earl, fondly known as "Earl the Pearl," was born to Frank and Florence Dressely on August 4, 1943, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Earl started in the printing business at a young age, working his way up to head pressman, and after over forty-six years in the industry, he retired from the St. Paul printing location as one of the last three original employees at the business.
Throughout Earl's years, he was a die-hard Viking Fan, tailgating at the old Met in the ever so famous "Blue Goose Bus."' He loved boating and hanging out with his friends on the Mississippi River, Gardening and putting all his Gnomes in the yard every spring.
Earl is survived by his wife of (61) years, Carolyn (Mollner), and Children, Al (Devon) Dressely and Jodie (Tom) Whaley; Grandchildren, Ashley (Shane) Dill, Marissa (Ben) LaMere, Chris (Amanda) Whaley, Morgan and Alana, and Great Grandson Weston Whaley, and his buddies Mokey and Mindy and special friend Ottis. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Richard (Sherrie) and James (Debbie) Dressely, Barbara (Ronald) Adams, Jackie Bertrand, Judy Booren, Shelley (Paul) Pream, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Florence, brothers Frank and Bobby, sisters, Darlene and Margie, and special friend, Cutty.
A private family prayer service for Earl will be held on Tuesday, November 28, at Kessler Funeral Home at 4 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at DeGidios from 5 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Please join us. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude's.
