Edward Dennis Preston

PRESTON, Edward Dennis, age 78, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 21, 2023. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a proud member of Local IBEW 160.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles J. (Duke) Preston and Dorothy Harrison; sister, Christine Hebert; brother, David Huspek and beloved son, Bryan W. Preston.  He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Judy (Snelling); children, Melissa Tourville (Nick), Charles A. Preston (Deborah Hodges); nephew, Scott Hebert; grandchildren, Michael, McKenzie, Madison; brother, Gerald Huspek (Kathy) and their children; along with many relatives and good friends.  Funeral Service 12:30pm Tuesday October 10 at Kessler Maguire Funeral Home, 640 W 7th Street, Saint Paul with visitation from 11am-12:30pm before service.  Friends and family will proceed from the funeral home when the service concludes for a 1:45pm Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue S., Minneapolis.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
