Evelyn Slack

Evelyn (Quinn) Slack, age 88 died February 23, 2015. Evelyn was born June 2, 1926 in St. Paul. In her early years she waitressed at the Lexington. She was an avid bowler on many teams. She worked many years at Hoerner Waldorf and retired from International Paper Co. Later in life she enjoyed reading, old TV westerns and a good meal out. She was loyal to all Minnesota sports teams, especially the Twins and Vikings, but also enjoyed the Wolves and Wild. She will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her father James Quinn; mother Barbara Barth and brothers, Jim, Ed and John Quinn. She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Jim) Johnson; son Greg (Lori) Slack; grandchildren, Mickey (Mike) Colton, Patrick (Thuy) Johnson, Mike Slack, Justin (Jenna) Slack, Peyton & Preston Slack; great-grandchildren, Zac and Josh Colton, Logan and Lena Johnson, Cloe and Carter Slack; special nieces, Patsy, Barb, Colleen, Sandy and nephew Scott and other relatives and friends. Thanks to Vickie, Bob and Robert for their friendship and help. A special thank you to her caregiving team, Opal, Paulette, Michelle and Kendra.
