Florence Josephine Pilger (Ollig) age 93, passed peacefully, surrounded by family in the comfort of her home on May 20th, 2015. Born March 4, 1922 in St. Paul, MN to Joseph Ollig and Henrietta Ollig (Boerboon), she was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband of 59 years Richard L. Pilger, her parents, her 5 siblings, two sons- in- law, two grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Florence is loved and missed by her four children and their spouses, James R. Pilger (Bernice) of Farmington, MN; John F. Pilger (Doris Jo) of Lubbock, TX; Judith H. Wetherill (Archie) of Ft. Washington, MD. and JoAnn M. Hoff (Doug) of Monroe, WA., 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Helen Johnson of White Bear Lake, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Florence will be especially remembered for her quick wit, strong will, deep faith, and generous heart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM, on Thursday, June 18, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. 650 Palace Ave., St. Paul, MN 55102. Internment at Calvery Cemetery following the service. Donations addressed to "St. Vincent De Paul Society St. Mary of the Valley" would be welcomed in Florence's memory: 601 W Columbia St., P.O.
