Age 72 of St. Paul Navy Vet of 28 years Died On November 22, 2014 after a courageous battle with ALS. Preceded in death by his parents, Patricia & George; sister Bev Pfaff & sister-in-law Janet McKay. Survived by his wife Joyce of 51 years; children, Gerald II (Kathy), Kellie (Jay) Christenson, Jodi Cruz & Anthony (Kim); 6 grandchildren; brother Bob (Patti); sisters, Vanessa (Dr. Bill) Furlow & Sandi (Harry) Brunell and many nieces, nephews & friends. He belonged to the Hugo American Legion. A special thank you to the staff at Bethel Care Center & The VA Hospital for the wonderful care they provided. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10 am at THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH 51 W. 7th St. Visitation starting at 9 am. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. 651-224-2341
