She was born on August 6, 1916 in Hinsdale, Montana and is preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph; brother Byrle Kielmann. Gertrude is survived by her son, Richard (Cheryl), and daughter Mary Jean; granddaughters Stacy (Jay) Miller and Keri; and great-granddaughters Haley and Leah; sister in-law Ruth Huber, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00AM on Friday, February 26, 2016 with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the Little Sisters of the Poor Family Residence, 330 Exchange Street S., St Paul, MN. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
