Passed away peacefully Feb. 26, 2010 in her home surrounded by loved ones after a long, courageous and hard fought battle with Alzheimers. Helen was preceded in death by son Mark. Survived by husband Frank of 69 years; her sons and their wives Mike (Donna), Ken (Rose), Tom (Rose), Frank (Tami); grandchildren Terry, Vince, Scott, Sandy, Tony, Jacob, and Matthew; six great grandchildren; sister Anna Mayo; many nieces and nephews. Helen and Frank are lifetime members of St. James Catholic Church. Helen lived with a very strong love of animals big and small. She and Frank enjoyed many retired years together at Island Lake. Helen is a retired employee of the St. Paul Public Schools where she enjoyed many years of cooking and serving food to the students. Mass of Christian Burial TUE 11:00 am at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH 496 View St. Visitation MON 4-8 pm at KESSLER & MAGUIRE FUNERAL HOME 640 W. 7 ^th St. and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
