Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 26, 2014. Preceded in death by his wife of 48 yrs Kathryn, siblings, Viola Clay, Myrtle Kehrer, Lois Carlson and Vernon Bergmann. Survived by his son Dan (Nancy); sisters Eileen Nelson, Elaine Sprengeler and Judy Beyer and many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was in the Army during WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He enjoyed traveling, singing, dancing & playing cards. Being with family was his life. Funeral Service Monday 10am at KESSLER & MAGUIRE 640 W. 7th St. 651-224-2341. Visitation Sunday 2-6 and also 1 hr prior to service Monday. Int. Ft. Snelling. Memorials to "Lyngblomsten The Gathering" or "Hospice of the Twin Cities"
