Joanne Dora Leonard

Joanne Dora Leonard (age 85) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 20, 2026. She was born on September 4, 1940 to Alphonse and Ava Fleischman.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 plus years John Leonard; her parents Alphonse and Eva Fleischman.

She is survived by her children Kerry Koenker, Julie Brengman, Kristine Koenker, James Koenker, and John Leonard; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

There will be a funeral service at Kessler and Maguire Funeral Home (640 West 7th St., Saint Paul, MN 55102) on February 9, 2026 at 11 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior. A graveside service will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450) at 12:30PM.
