Preceded in death by parents Carmon & Bernice Hawkins; brother Dick (Donna) Hawkins; husband of 59 years Tom; son Bob.
Survived by sons Mike (Sheila), Jim (Cara); grandchildren Brian (Emily), Julie (Sebastian), Matt (Kate), Amy (Tim); great-grandchildren Olivia & Luke; many nieces, nephews & friends.
Joan was a life-long parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. A graduate of O.L.P. High School and St. Catherine’s College of Nursing.
Special thanks to all at The Alton Memory Care and Our Lady of Peace Hospice friends & staff.
Memorial Mass 11 AM Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Palace & Osceola. Gathering one hour prior. Private interment at a later date.
