John Joseph Kensy

John Kensy (age 87) of Woodbury, MN passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025. John brought joy to many through his strong sense of humor – he enjoyed telling jokes and sharing stories with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed making others laugh. He was known for his sweet and gentle demeanor and love of sports, especially golf. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he brought joy to. We will forever cherish his memory as a loving father, grandfather, husband, and cherished friend.

John is preceded in death by his wife Jean; parents John and Lottie; brother Kenneth; and son Michael.

He is survived by his loving children, Barbara Kensy, Douglas (Debbie) Kensy, Linda Kensy; sister; Jan (Ken) Phillips, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
