December 9, 1932 – January 20, 2019

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family

St. Paul Police Sergeant Investigator, Master Chief US Navy Reserve, St. Paul Police Band.

Preceded in death by wife Mary Jo; son Michael Bernard; grandson Jackson; parents John & Evelyn, brother James.

Survived by children John, Patrick, Kathleen (John), sister Joanie, brother Richard (Linda), grandchildren Alexandra, Emily (Josh), Cooper; great-grandchildren Mackson, Lylah.

Jack enjoyed the outdoors, his work as a St. Paul civil servant and as US veteran. He loved the St. Paul Police Force, the St. Paul Police Band,  the lake and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend in time of need. Special thanks for all the loving care and support from the employees of the Golden Age Manor.

Visitation Tuesday from 4-8 at KESSLER & MAGUIRE 640 W. 7th St. 651-224-2341. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday Jan. 30 10 am at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH 2055 Bohland Ave with a visitation starting at 9am. Interment Ft. Snelling.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Catholic Church building fund, 1050 Keller Ave. N. Amery WI 54001 and/or Amery VFW Post 7929, 730 Wisconsin Ave, Amery WI 54001.
