Boozhoo (hello),

Josh was pure magic. He was a truly unique spirit, a gifted artist and musician, and he saw the world in ways other people often missed or had already decided were impossible. In his mind, nothing was impossible. His laugh was enough to shake the Earth in the most beautiful way and if you were lucky enough to be loved by him, you were loved big. Huge. His perpetual sense of wonder, curiosity, and warmth made for chaotic but comforting conversation. Josh connected deeply with every part of where he came from. He spent many years as an aspiring elder within his Ojibwe tribe, learning language and culture, and growing deep roots. He was also very proud to be Greek and like any great Grecian dreamer, he asked questions of the world around him and spent a lot of time exploring meaning, purpose, and love. Preceded by his mother Antigone and father Robert, survived by his sisters Mikala (Derrick) and Lisa (Rob), his brother Mark, his stepfather John, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, nibblings, cousins, friends, and tribe members. Dearest Josh, Chi-miigwech (BIG thank you) for bringing life into every space you entered. Whether it be Gaagigebimaadiziwin (full cycle of life - Land of Everlasting Happiness) or a journey through the River Styx toward Elysium, any place you visit will welcome all of your spirit, laughter, stories, philosophies, compassion, and joy. αγάπη (dearness and love) and zhawenim (unconditional love) for you beeg brother, son, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend, neighbor, and send with you Καλή τύχη (good fortune) a
