LaVonne Darlene Stocking

LaVonne Darlene Stocking (95) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in her home at Eagan Pointe Senior Living. LaVonne is survived by three children, Cynthia (Kim) Jennison, Rebecca (D. Charles) Brown, and Thomas (Amy) Stocking, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ron Stocking, a sister-in-law, Rose Stocking, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

LaVonne is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene, sister, Wyonne, several brothers- and sisters- in law, and three nieces. 

She will be remembered for her friendliness, sense of humor and flirtiness, and that her birthday was a national holiday.

As well as raising a family, LaVonne was a well respected insurance agent, having worked in the business from the late sixties to her retirement. 

Memorials may be made in LaVonne's memory to St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
