Lawrence Nichols

Died peacefully after an 8-week struggle with cancer Preceded in death by father Joseph; sister MaryBeth Schwartzbauer, brother Thomas Nichols. Survived by sons Ryan & Jack; and their mother Patty; mother Rosemary; siblings Joe (Rose), Anne (Mike) McQuillan, Charles (Sue), William (Sue), Meg (Joseph) Mindrup, Matt; sister-in-law Lori; many nieces & nephews. Graduate of Highland Park High School (77), University of Minnesota, and William Mitchell College of Law. Larry was proud to be a lawyer. He was passionate about the rights of the common man, fishing, hunting, the rules of golf, and, of course, Garcia ties. We are grateful for the kind and compassionate care that Larry received at Regions Hospital and Our Lady of Peace Home. Visitation 4-8 PM Sunday at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home, 640 W. 7th St. St. Paul and 10-11 AM Monday at church. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Palace & Osceola. Private interment. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family wishes.
