Lois Hale

Lois Hale, age 59 of Maplewood, died July 26, 2014. Lois was preceded in death by her mother Lois and sister Josette Radel. She is survived by her husband Tim Stevenson; son David Nelson; grandchildren Sienna, Joely; sister Diane; nieces and nephews Mike & Marc Radel, Joe & Summer Hale; and many post office friends. Lois grew up in the West 7th area of St. Paul during a time when life was simple, free and full of adventure. Although she grew up poor, Lois had a wonderful childhood and played in the richest and most beautiful historic sites that St. Paul had to offer. Lois was a strong independent practical enthusiastic loving woman. Lois had a strong sense of right from wrong and had a unique ability to empower the people around her. Lois is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Lois was happy to retire from the post office after 37 years and cherished her friends she made along the way. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday August 9 with 10:30 Memorial Service at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home, 640 W. 7th St. St. Paul.
