Loving mother of Troy (Kay), Tracy (Tom Doten), Todd (Brenda); grandchildren Cora, Jena, George, Annaliese, John & Adrianna; 2 great-grandchild Raven and Grayson. Preceded in death by husband Roy Aarthun, brother Jens and sister Solveig. Celebration of life at a later date. A graduate of Wilson High School, Class of 1958, Mae loved to share stories of her time as a corrections officer. Friends and family have fond memories of Mae giggling and playing pranks, fishing and hunting, and relaxing at the family cabin on Lake Superior. She is remembered as a kind and gentle person to all who knew her.
