Matthew S. Van Tassell,
age 78, Passed away peacefully on 7/9.
Preceded in death by son Russell sisters Melody and Linda; survived by children Abra (Scott), Elizabeth (Joel), and Kristian. Grandchildren Falisha, Brandon, Nick, Courtney, Piper, Mitchell, Chance, Jas, Samantha, Emma, Lou, Javan, Azure, Lavender, and 8 great grandchildren Leah, Kylie, Sofia, Emmett, Lucy, Elliott, JJ and Calvin. Also survived by 4 of 6 siblings Joy, Oliver, Sandy, and Robert. Visitation on Thursday, 7/16 from 4-8pm at Kessler & Maguire, 640 W 7th St, St. Paul. Private burial to follow at Fort Snelling.
