Peter Arthur Zwach

Peter was a life long resident of the West 7th neighborhood. He attended St. Francis De Sales Grade School, Cretin High School and graduated from St. Thomas College in 1983. He married his childhood sweetheart in 1985. He is survived by his best friend, Colleen. Daughters; Abigale (Daniel) and Emily, and Son PJ (Sarah). Four grandchildren Liya, Rafael, Nash, and Luna. AS well as dear friends from the Catholic Athletic Association.

Peter — Father, Coach, Teacher — dedicated his life to shaping young lives through education and sports. He spent many years teaching at St. Francis before finishing his career at Highland Junior High, leaving a lasting impact on countless students and families.

A well-respected referee, Peter brought integrity, fairness, and passion to every game. He took immense pride in always being there for others, especially in supporting youth athletics and encouraging the next generation to grow, compete, and believe in themselves.

Known for his determination, Peter gave 100 percent in everything he did. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in his personal life, he led with care, commitment, and heart.

He was a truly caring man who will forever be missed, but his legacy will continue through the many lives he touched.

An evening visitation gathering will be held at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Chapel, 6 - 8pm on Wed. April 8th, 640 7th St W, St Paul. Peter's Funeral Mass will occur the following day at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, 398 W Superior St, St Paul at 11am with a visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help cover funeral expenses. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time.
