Richard D. Dooher (Dick) of St Paul, Minnesota passed away on February 24, 2026 at the age of 84. He was born July 29, 1941 to Thomas L. Dooher and Rose Joanne Dooher (nee Proell). Dick had one brother, Thomas J. Dooher. He grew up in St Paul and attended Monroe High School.
For many years, Dick worked as a truck driver and warehouseman. Dick was adventurous and loved to travel, especially with the love of his life, Lois Katzenberger. Dick was an avid swimmer, cyclist, skier and tennis player. He kept up to date on current events by reading several local and national newspapers each week. He liked old cars and owned a 1973 Chevy Caprice convertible. You wouldn’t know it to look at him, but Dick loved to eat. His favorite meal was sausages and peppers with pasta at DeGidio’s Restaurant.
Dick is survived by nephew, Thomas H. Dooher (Mary Beth), nieces, Terri Dooher Fleming (Mark) and Patti King (Rick Weinhandl); great nieces and great nephews Katie Arnold (Matt), Tom Dooher, Kirsten Fleming (Lucas Volini), Sam Dooher, Tori Sadofsky (Joe), Max King, Angela Moris and Abi Moris. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Rose Dooher, his brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Carol Dooher, niece, Michele Moris, and his dearest friend Lois Katzenberger.
Dick was a kind and generous man. He showed his love by always being present to support his family and friends. We will all miss him very much.
