Stober, Robert "Bob" Retired Fire Chief, Age 78 of Coon Rapids on June 24, 2016. Bob served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the St. Paul Fire Department after 25 years, then moved to Montana, where he served as fire chief in Big Sky for ten years. Preceded in death by wife of 40 years Sandra; son Daniel. Beloved father of Ronald, Kenneth, Thomas; grandfather of Ryan, Rebecca, Benjamin, Zachery, Alexander; great-grandfather of Finley; brother of William, James, Bonnie, Theresa, many nieces & nephews. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday and 10-11 AM Friday with Funeral Service 11 AM Friday at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home, 640 W. 7th St. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials to MN State Fire Dept Assoc.
