Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home. Russ lived a full and adventurous life, a true Renaissance man and beloved member of the Prairie Home Companion family for the last 40 years. He is survived by his wife Denise Remick; his children Lisa Nicholson, her children Anna, Calvin and David, Hans Ringsak, his children Jon and Holly, Karen Ringsak, her children Ian, Adais and Ilai; mother of his children Beverly Ringsak; siblings Suellen Bateman, Ruth Ringsak, Mick Ringsak and Randy Ringsak. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Visitation Saturday, October 14 from 2 to 6:00 pm at Kessler & Maguire, 640 W. 7th St., St. Paul. Funeral services Sunday, October 15 at 3:00 pm, St. Paul United Church of Christ, 900 Summit Ave., St. Paul, with family greeting starting at 2:00 pm. Reception following funeral service. Internment at Fort Snelling, Monday, October 16 at 10:15 am, processional leaving Kessler & Maguire at 9:30 am.
