Ruth Hempel, age 89 died Wednesday morning October 29, 2014. Ruth Lorraine was born December 5, 1924 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Charles & Louise (Peterson) Glunz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erich Hempel. She is the beloved mother of Eric (Linda), Tom (Kathy), David (Sally), Diane (Jerrold) Kortus; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service 10 AM Saturday with Gathering starting at 9 AM at KESSLER & MAGUIRE Funeral Home, 640 W. 7th St. Inurnment Acacia Park Cemetery.
