Shannon Joy Niedorf (Thompson), age 50, passed surrounded by loving family on October 12, 2026, preceded in death by grand parents Kathleen and Roman Nagel, mother Patricia Thompson (Nagel). Survived by her husband Joe, children Abigail and William, sister Patti Jo Fraser, brother Gerald Fraser Jr.

Shannon was a strong, nurturing woman whose greatest love was her family. As a wife to Joe and mother to Abby and William, she devoted herself to the people who meant the most to her. Her love was unwavering, her heart was devoted, and her family was always at the center of her world.

Shannon will be remembered for her strong will, her determination, and her never-ending love for her family. She was a woman who stood strong through life’s challenges and never stopped fighting for the people she loved. Her strength was a reflection of the depth of her love, and her fierce devotion to her family was one of the most defining parts of who she was.

Her fight may have ended, but her love will never fade.
