67 years as a Franciscan Sister, died Thursday morning August 21, 2014. Born Marie Stocker on March 19, 1925 in St. Joseph, MN the daughter of Phillip & Margaret (Zaun) Stocker. Preceded in death by parents Phillip & Margaret Stocker; siblings Elmer, Theresa, Melvin, Marcella, Ralph, Irene. She is survived by sister Rosalia (Emanuel) Kes; brother Wilfred (Ruth); sister-in-law Florence; brother-in-law Bernie Shambour; her sisters in community The Franciscan Sisters of St. Paul and Germany; many nieces, nephews; friends at Serenity; and her special friends that were her extended family. Eternally grateful for the friendship of the St. Joseph Sisters of Carondelet. Visitation 9-10 AM with Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Tuesday at St. Mary's at Serenity, Marian Care Center, 200 Earl, St. Paul. Private burial Calvary Cemetery in Jordan.
