Wayne Elwin Amacher

Wayne Elwin Amacher (age 70) passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1955 to John and Dorothy Amacher. Wayne went into the marine core in the 70s. After the marines, Wayne spent most of his adult life in Shoup, Idaho. He ran a general post office and weather station. He later lived in the mountains mining cobalt.

Preceded in death by his father John Amacher; and sister Deborah Amacher.

Survived by his siblings Arnold Amacher, Charlene Carter; and daughter Rachel Macedonio.

There will be a memorial service at the Cathedral of Saint Paul (239 Selby Ave, St Paul, MN 55102) on April 29, 2025 at 11AM with a visitation 30 minutes prior. There will be a burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450) on April 30, 2025 at 10:15 AM.
