Darlene passed away peacefully on February 15, 2021 at the age of 78.  She was born in St. Paul on October 8, 1942 to George and Genevieve Kruger. She grew up in Mendota, MN with her sisters Audrey, Betty and Carol and step-siblings George and Hollie. She married Darrell Rahn and they had three children. She was preceded in death by her infant son Dean.

She is survived by and will be greatly missed by daughters Kim (Tom) Tschida and Colleen (Alan) Stauber; grandchildren Jake, Shannon, Adam, Dylan and Joe; and great-grandchildren Parker and Cameron. She was extremely proud of her children and grand-children and considered them her greatest joy and gift in life. She always said time is love and valued the time she spent with them.

She had a love of travel, and her job with Delta airlines allowed her to travel to many places in the US, Hawaii, Europe, and Mexico. She retired from Delta airlines and continued to travel.

She was creative, artistic and adventurous. She enjoyed the outdoors, drawing and painting. She was always trying to stay busy taking art classes, going to the YMCA and meeting new people. She had a spirited and adventurous approach to life, trying new things as well as enjoying puzzles and games.

Her daughters are grateful for the foundation and life she gave them and the love that will remain.
