Gregory Tomasino

February 21, 1952 — May 29, 2022

Saint Paul

Beloved Husband, Father and Brother

Greg passed away suddenly on May 29, 2022. He was 70 years old.

Preceded in death by parents, Guy and Nancy. Also by step-son Jerry Todora Jr. Survived by his loving wife Janet (Rosenberger); daughter Christine; step-daughters, Stacie (Dan) Krieg and Jody (Kenny) Srock; siblings, Linda Tomasino, Mark (Debbie) Tomasino and MaryJo (John) Bovee; also survived by sisters-in-law Ila (Sig) Schneibel, Alice (Don) DeVaughn and Marlyce Rosenberger; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two special nieces (Kelly & Dana) and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends. Greg graduated from Monroe High School in 1970. He worked 16 years at Northern Wholesale Supply in Lino Lakes and loved his job driving truck and all the people he met along the way. He began working at Treasure Island shortly before his illness. Greg was a generous and kind person who loved people and was always willing to help anyone in any way he could. He loved his family and was devoted to his mother. For many years he spent summers and other times helping her, including caring for her yard. He missed her always since her passing in 2019. Almost everyone who knew Greg loved him and were aware of his love for “toys”, including electronics, games, cars, drones and more- but most of all he loved his wife Janet- and it was mutual. A Celebration of Life will be held SATURDAY, July 9, noon-3 p.m. at Mancini’s Steakhouse (a Tomasino family favorite), 531 W. 7th St., St. Paul. A Presentation of Shared Memories at 1:00 p.m. Italian Hors d’ Oeuvre buffet will be served. Memorials preferred to Greg’s wife, Janet Tomasino.
