Age 89 of St. Paul’s West End, passed away surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her husband Ross, parents Peter and Mary Schwartz, sisters Helen VanHeel and Lorainne Leppla. Survived by seven daughters: Deb (Jim) Povolny Sr.; Jody Johnson; Jean (Mike) Seivert Sr.; Donna (Jim) Gironda of Winchester, VA; Dianne L; Sandy (Jeff) Kirkpatrick of Fairview, TX; and Tammy Jordan. Fourteen Grandchildren: Maria (Matt) Gonko; James (Donita) Povolny Jr.; Krista (Joe) Johnson; Laura (Thomas) Ferguson; Shelley (Chad) Chaves; Tim (Jesse) Johnson; Ben Johnson; Lauren & Michael Seivert Jr.; Michael & Jason Gironda; Ashley Lofgren; Jordan & Justin Kirkpatrick. Fourteen Great Grandchildren: Madelin, Miranda, Makenna & Mason; James III, Eli, & Isaac; Nettie; Olivia, Estella & Charlotte; Grady; Malachi & Hazel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Worked 47+ years at St. Francis parish and was a longtime member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She loved sports, going to the casino, and taking pictures of her family that she loved dearly.

Mass of Christian burial at St. Francis de Sales Church 650 Palace Street, St. Paul at 11:00am Tuesday, December 19th 2017. Visitation at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home 640 W 7th Street, St. Paul Monday, December 18th, 2017 5:00-8:00pm and one hour prior to Mass at the church. Burial at Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred to Church of St. Francis de Sales. Arrangements by Kessler & Maguire (651) 224-2341.
